When I applied for my study Creative Technology, we had to hand in a portfolio with both creative things we made and technical stuff.
One of the creative things I had done before, was remixing a song from one of my favourite games: Persona 5. I ended up doing it mostly by ear, and I think it turned out pretty well. I did it in FLStudio.
